Pleinair Events
In the South, September and October are the months to get out and paint en pleinair and Wilmington has had no shortage of pleinair paintouts and competitions. As a warm up for these events, I got out with a small group and painted on Castle Street. This area of town has enjoyed a rebirth as the arts and antique district. "In the Neighborhood" was painted standing in front of Dan Beck's Gallery and looking across the street.
