Summer of 2018 is coming to a close. The Labor Day weekend approaches and the children start back to school. A few short weeks ago, sailing school at the Carolina Yacht Club was in full swing. I'm fortunate to have a friend, who is a member and she generously invites me to float. I would say swim but at this stage, we just simply float. Loads of kids enjoy taking sailing lessons and afterwards swim in the sound. I love watching their youthful exuberance and energy and try to capture this on canvas. I love living on the North Carolina coast and enjoying all that it offers.
