New Year's Day was unseasonably warm this year so a friend and I decided to paint at Wrightsville beach. As we pulled up to the Carolina Yacht Club, we were delighted to see all kinds of activity. There was a group going out for their annual new year's sail and the area closest to the dock had a mini regatta going on.
