The Heart of Wrightsville Beach

The Heart of Wrightsville Beach
The Heart of Wrightsville Beach

I have been looking for a way to give back to a local charity through my artwork. Because of my recent open heart surgery (5 weeks ago, I had my aortic valve replaced and a bypass), the Cape Fear Heart Association emerged as my way to give back. This Saturday, Feb. 18th, they are holding their ball and auction. I chose to donate " The Heart of Wrightsville Beach" to contribute for their auction. This is a painting of Mercer's pier that has for years been the central gathering place on Wrightsville Beach.
I would have liked to attend the ball but unfortunately, don't quite have my stamina back so I chose to forego this year. I am so very grateful to have a newly repaired heart and hope that my contribution will help fund all the good that the heart association does. If you attend, please check out my painting and bid generously! #capefearheartassociation, #ncartist,#artistgivingback, #gratitude, #theheartofwrightsvillebeach

Another excellent piece! I don't have any names that fly in my mind yet. Love the hues as well. When I take a gander at it I feel that every one of my faculties are influenced. Notice, locate, sensations, sound... You have caught the quintessence of seeing this remarkable place.
